Materials

In this video, you will find all of the basic pieces that come with the Dr.UGraft® Zeus™. The box includes the following materials:

• UGraft Zeus Brochure
  • This brochure provides a condensed, easy-to-understand explanation of the basic parts of the device
• User Manual
  • The manual provides detailed operation instructions
• Power Chord
  • The power chord is designed to accommodate both 240 and 110 volts
• Zeus Console
  • The console is the main control system for the Zeus and contains the computer motherboard
• Foot Pedal
  • The foot pedal is an easy-to-use power system that feeds into the device
• Nurture Handpiece
  • The handpiece is comfortably designed, fluid-enabled, and holds the punch
• UGraft Motorchord
  • The motorchord contains the motor that drives the handpiece

Understanding Your Dr.UGraft® Zeus™ Device

As shown in the brochure, the three most important pieces of the UGraft Zeus are the Zeus Console™, the Intelligent Punch™, and the Nurture™ handpiece. The foot pedal connects to the handpiece to feed into the spinning power, making it easy for the operator to turn the device on and off. The Console™ contains seven unique presets that accommodate any hair or skin type. The settings are: Regular Scalp, Thin Scalp, African Hair & Thick Scalp, Typical Body & Beard, Thick Body (Pubic & Back), Long Hair (No Shave), and Custom. With the Intelligent Punch™ and Nurture handpiece, the user is able to perform the desired type of FUE with one punch and from any angle.

Video: Setting Up the Dr.UGraft® Zeus™

How To Set Up: 5 Simple Steps

Step 1: Place your Zeus console on a flat, stable surface with plenty of space

Step 2: Connect the foot pedal to the console by lining up the red dot on the console-end of the cable to the red dot on the console; push until your hear a snap

Step 3: Begin connecting the handpiece to the console by lining up the red dot on the console-end of the motorchord to the red dot on the console; push until you hear a snap

Step 4: Attach the handpiece to the other end of the motorchord

Step 5: Connect the power chord by connecting the console-end side of the chord (the side with three holes) to the designated port on the back of the console and twist the screw into place to secure the chord; plug the other end into a safe wall outlet

Portable Technology

All pieces of the Dr.UGraft® Zeus™ are easy to connect, disconnect, and put back into their initial packaging. These easy-to-use qualities make transporting the device to another location simple. The Dr.UGraft® Zeus™ was designed with simplicity in mind, allowing the operator to focus on the task at hand and without worrying about the machine. When packing up your Dr.UGraft® Zeus™, be sure to include all of the following pieces:

• Power Chord
• Zeus Console
• Foot Pedal
• Nurture Handpiece
• UGraft Motorchord

Video: Sanitizing the Dr.UGraft® Zeus™

Autoclaving Your Handpiece

1. Turn the System Off: Before beginning to sanitize your device, make sure the system is turned off by hitting the button on the back of the Console.
2. Remove Front End of Handpiece: Remove the front end of your handpiece by taking it off of the motorchord that holds the back end. Note: do not sanitize the back end of the handpiece that contains the motor
3. Wash Front End of Handpiece: First, remove the punch from the handpiece and clean using surgical detergent and warm water.
4. Lubricate the Inside of the Handpiece (Front End): Using the black rubber piece that came in the handpiece box, lubricate the insides of the front end of the handpiece after cleaning.
5. Autoclave: Your handpiece is now ready to sanitize using steam autoclave or ionized plasma.

Easy To Autoclave

The Nurture handpiece was designed with easy cleaning in mind. Be sure to fully sanitize your device after every use. Remember, the motor end of the handpiece should not be autoclaved. If necessary, wipe the outside only gently with a sponge or cloth using surgical detergent and warm water. Be sure not to get any water inside the motor end of the handpiece.
